What's The Process When Using An Egg Donor?

STEP ONE
Schedule a Meeting With Our Donor Coordinator
Please note that to set up a meeting with the donor coordinator, you must receive a referral from your healthcare provider. The donor coordinator will only assist with selecting a donor and finding a good match; they will not work on any clinical aspects.
During your first meeting with the donor coordinator, please be prepared to discuss any requests, preferences, or budgets you and your partner may have. Our donor coordinator will guide you through the donor selection process and ensure the experience is as easy as possible.
As part of our complimentary concierge service, the donor coordinator will select and present three mutually compatible donor profiles with you and your partner. Upon request, you may receive access to view our available donor profiles.
STEP TWO
CHOOSE A DONOR
Access will be given to view the three profiles selected by the donor coordinator. Once reviewed, you and your partner will be able to make a decisions regarding which profile you believe is most suitable for your family and circumstances.
After selecting the donor of your choice, you will move forward with the next step in the matching process.
STEP FOUR
RECEIVE & TRANSFER DONOR EGGS
Once embryos are created, your embryo transfer cycle will be planned. A Women’s Specialty & Fertility Center provider will contact you to initiate the process. Your cycle will be monitored until you are ready to receive the embryo transfer and hopefully achieve a successful pregnancy.
STEP THREE
SECURE EGGS
Upon matching with your chosen egg donor, the donor coordinator will secure your egg cohort.
When frozen eggs are used, we will start the embryo generation process after receiving the sperm sample from your husband/partner. Valley Andrology & Fertility Center will make the necessary arrangements.
If donor sperm is used, we should receive the sample from the sperm bank of your choosing. We will keep you informed at all stages of the process.
